Your First AWS Learning Path
Explore AWS foundations, core services and a practical project.
STEP 01
Learn the building blocks
Understand cloud concepts, regions, availability, identity and the shared responsibility model. Learn the purpose of EC2, S3, VPC and IAM before designing a complex architecture.
STEP 02
Practise securely and manage cost
Use a dedicated learning environment, multi-factor authentication and least-privilege access. Review billing and budget alerts before creating resources, and clean up after each lab.
STEP 03
Build and explain a small architecture
Create a small application environment. Explain network access, storage, monitoring, backup and how you would respond to an outage. Document the trade-offs in a short diagram and README.
STEP 04
Choose your next step
Explore the AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate and practical workshop options. Compare their published syllabus and discuss which one matches your current knowledge and study time.
